Not if it's booked through some of the US based websites, I've had visitors from Aus who have been caught by the 'room only' trick!

My daughter likes the Elephant House on George IV Bridge for breakfast - but she's more your bagel and coffee type, but there is no shortage of snack places in Edinburgh, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Again thanks. I am afraid so. Apparently the 'Best Man' booked this place regardless of cost and didn't get the breakfast included. I'm kind of pleased though as I can explore Edinburhg for a couple of hours on the Saturday (if I'm up to it )

Well off to Scotland tomorrow. Packed my spare liver in my suitcase - will let you all know how it went - will try to go to a few of the places that you suggested.
