I live about as far away from Scotland as you can get, and this language is more than foreign to me. As I said before it has never been my intention to offend anybody, or expect them to learn a language just for the sake of translating a phrase for me. To all those that have helped I thank you.
Well, whether you`re offended or not, I should have said Taigh nan Caimbeulach

and anyways....how do you know I was being rude.....you never heard the tone of my voice!

I don't recall ever saying that I was offended, what I did say was " it wasn't my intention to offend anyone on this forum".
You still have a distinct advantage over me as I still don't speak or understand Gaelic, so other than what those who have been willing to help with the translation request from me I still don't know what you said, other than Taigh=house. the rest of it, not a clue.
As for you being rude, you're 100 % right, I didn't "hear" the tone of your voice, but in the USA when someone starts a sentence with "you people" that's very rude and could be fighting words. Perhaps if you temper your words with a little forethought as to how you say things people wouldn't percieve you as being rude. As I tell my son. it's not what you say, but how you say it.
On that note, I will say again thank you to all that were so willing to help and I hope we can put this subject to bed now.
Marie
