There's a fair amount of black people where I live, but they tend to be mostly either refugees or postgraduate students, oh and come to think of it, (at least one guy I know who is from London of (originally) Jamaican parents) - they're not really going to get together from a bunch of different African countries to invent some slang.

It is only recently though, i.e. 21st century, that we've seen anything like a substantial population of Afro-Caribbean folk here. At least nowhere near to the extent of the well established populations of London, for example.

Nothing like London at all, no: I'm agreeing and pretty much emphasising that there are not at all many black people here really, and of those there are, many are not really permanent residents.

But I suspect our Mavericker is half-way to troll, if not all the way there. He/she certainly isn't much interested in the answers.

We've already given you quite a bit of input.

There isn't masses of rhyming slang in Scotland. It's never caught on, and we're ****e at it - truth be told. If anywhere, it's more popular in Glasgow.
