A small Gaelic text by H.Najaar

La bag ata ann.

Dia duit.

Cad é mar ata tu?

An bhfuil aon scéal agat?

Houssine is aimn dom;

Is as an Fhrainc;

Ta mé i mo chomai i bParas;

Is maith liom Alba.

Eirim ar a hocht ar maidin.

"Tus maith leath na boibre"

Ta beagan Gaeilge agam.

Ta me ag foghlaim Gaeilge;

Is maith liom ceol Alba.

Slan go foill.

Can any one give me a translation of this sentences

I study gaelic in Irish center in Paris.Who can translat this sentences and who can tell me where is the difference between Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic,precisely did you believ they are religious interference in the language.

Beyond the difference of accent ( Scottish no longer has the acute while Irish does) im not sure of what differences there are. The most simple phrases are usually mutually intelligible on paper but spoken is a different matter most of the time. The article on wikipedia might be of help:
