Kelly MacDonald's accent?

Hi, I saw an interview Kelly MacDonald the other day and I was wondering what type of accent she has? I read she's from Glasgow, but I don't have an ear for the different Scottish accents. Thanks in advance.

(I realized I spelled her name wrong in the thread name, apologies.)

Presumably if she was born in Glasgow, she has a Glaswegian accent - but I've never heard her speak in 'real life', so couldn't comment!

Hmm, well what about from the movies? Particularly the one that comes to mind is The Girl in the Cafe. I've heard other Glaswegians speak and Kelly's accent just seemed much stronger.

I only watched a little of that TV film - she sounded to be talking with a Glaswegian accent to my ears - but then, I do come from Edinburgh.... and maybe the Glaswegians on here may have a different opinion

She's from Glasgow. I don't think she has a comparitively strong accent.

Hmm, I guess the Glaswegians I know have adapted their accent sinces coming to the states.

Many thanks for everyone's input.

Are you writing a thesis on Glaswegian/Scottish accents or something?
