If you want an excellent example of accents, look no further than "Spinal Tap". All of the cast are Americans, but their impressions of English accents are incredible. In fact I originally thought they were English... I think they explained that instead of trying to do Stage English accents, they actually went and listened to real English people. People wanting to emulate Scottish accents should do the same, but of course not with English accents!
