To say that English fans are the worst in Europe is now an outdated, old-fashioned view.

Of course, one does wish to remain up to date and thoroughly modern.

Tell that to the racist (anti-German) press during the last world cup and to the numpties dressed up as 2nd World War flyboys at the match where England got its ass wiped with the feet of German football boots.

The English live in the past with all their royalty crap and days of empires lost and King 'enry the eitph' mate (who incidentally was a serial wife killer).

John Lydon said it best : 'England's dreaming'.

Oh yes, nothing cheers me up more than seeing England get its ass kicked in a world cup football match, if only because they've won every single world cup since 1966 before it's even begun.

Incidentally, you keep calling people racist. As far as I can tell, we're all Caucasians, so I don't see how calling someone an annoying English w****r can be considered racist.

Now, it may be xenophobic but that would rely heavily on the fact that the English would have to have an actual culture to dislike.

I don't think a Sunday brunch of lamb in mint sauce, or hero worshiping the Royals (a bunch of Germans incidentally), qualifies as much of a culture.

A culture being reasonably defined as, 'something people do or celebrate in their daily lives'.
