Have you ever made a complaint against a Scottish police force?

We are an Edinburgh film company, making a documentary during the Edinburgh Festival which is dealing specifically with police complaints in Scotland. We would like to hear from you if you have ever tried to make a complaint against a Scottish police force, and would like to know:

*What was your complaint against the police?
*What was the procedure you had to go through?
* Did you feel your case was handled fairly?
*What do you think of the way complaints against the police are handled in
Scotland?
* What was the outcome of your complaint?

Please email address removed(members can contact you via the private messaging service provided onsite)

We look forward to hearing from you.

No, but I would like to know how BBC Scotland got hold of the Lothian & Borders police tapes of the Sheridan interviews, supposedly Crown Evidence and possibly productions in Tommy Sheridan's appeal. wullie.

Kenneth Roy discusses that question a little in the Scottish Review. "The BBC, the police and Tommy Sheridan".

Thanks for that Celyn. Somebody in Lothian & Borders Finest has misappropriated these and passed/sold them to BBC Scotland! Huge implications, can the public expect that every statement given to the police may find its way into the media, and who, in future, will "help the police with their enquiries" with any confidence, in other words, whatever you say, say nothing! would appear to be the best policy. wullie.
