OK, I am confused. . . The Queen has German ancestry and German relations as do many of those living in many of the European countries. (and indeed, many of the colonist descendants as well

) The Queen was born in the UK, as were her parents and her grandparents, right? Doesn't that make her as British as the next person who was born on UK soil? Genetically speaking, she is pretty far removed form Germany.
And if Tshts mum was born in Edinburgh to German parents or a German parent, isn't he genetically closer to Germany than the queen is?
If a German immigrant has a child in the US, that child is legally a citizen of the US BUT of German ancestry, called a first generation American, is it the same in the UK? Are there first generation Brits?
Or is this just more of NeoIrishNazism raising it's rabble-rousing head?
