Considering you are asking Scots to sign a petition on behalf of your husband's right to stay in the UK, it might be better if you would learn that we are SCOTS (not Scotts) and insulting long-term posters on here is hardly a way to win friends and influence people...... I for one will not be signing your petition without a lot more info.... if the Home Office have decided NOT to allow him to stay, then there must be a reason. Your attitude here seems to be confrontational, to say the least. |

I have to say that other than Holly thinking English rule is our main Human Rights Problem, I find nothing to fault what she said...and from her coming from oversees..its not surprising she is of that opinion... so you blame everyone for being to insular and selfish... maybe you feel this way because of this personal injustice your feeling right now.. but to be so opressive in your selfish view makes you far more selfish already than any would be listener... It is true what she says, that many scots do feel opressed by our history... and I think to only be able to tell us and the world that we and they are all selfish with not enough love for the world or each other..is a circular argument.. and one which a couple of times now I have seen you recommend... You will only ever lose this argument.. because you are already too agressive...how can you debate the side of peace with anger in your words..??
Should an example you not make? |

make your own rights.. why rage against a system that you do not understand? FK em. if I feel that my human rights are bieng abused I go out and stop it, I dont sit about waiting for a system (that is ritually abused on this site over things that happened 700 years ago) to do anything about it. for gods sake Britain as a whole is more Gay than the US .... we tip toe about paying for things that happened 5 life-times ago.... give me a break, I happen to believe that I live in the free-est country in the world.... the UK, if you dis agree I wont imprison you, Ill just reply...

Yes there are a few racist people in every country! My granddad is very racist which I cringe at, the new generation are more accepting than the older generation as it was common when he was young to hate anything that wasn't like him. Sometimes I get fed up because the asylum seekers are taking our jobs, and there is already a problem with jobs. If there are new people coming to Scotland, then I wont have a problem with them unless they respect our rules and the way we live. We have had an increase of murders... I dont know if anyone heard about the head in the bag incident because of the growing number of 'foreigners' coming. And please dont not call me a scott as I am a scot and find it deeply offending.

You KEEP resurrecting really old threads where the original posters have disappeared from this forum, never to be seen again.
