George Bush offends Scotland

I quote from whitehouse.gov, and a transcipt of Mr Bush giving a news conference concerning NATO issues. Pres. Bush has just been asked about the threat from North Korea, and gives a typically confusing reply. He doesn't answer the question. I quote the response from the question asker:

Q Mr. President, can you explain so the boys in Lubbock can understand --

THE PRESIDENT: Crawford or Lubbock?

Q Lubbock or Crawford, both --

THE PRESIDENT: Lubbock is a little more sophisticated than Crawford, Arshad. (Laughter.)

Q Crawford, then.

THE PRESIDENT: Or Scotland, for that matter.

I believe Anne Robinson was investigated by the police for saying something similar about the Welsh?

And I think it's a little beyond George Bush to say anyone or anything is 'unsophisticated.' Isn't this the man who said that 'I'm sure humans and fish can co-exist peacefully'?

i did not vote for him.

he recently was asked about doctors in america and how malpractice insurance premiums are so high. he said that he will work on lowering the premiums so, 'ob/gyns can give love to their patients.' (quote - unquote).

i don't think he meant to offend anyone by that comment. what did it actualy mean. that he called scotland uncivilized. who wears jeans to formal occations and still has cowboys I'm american and can say we are the ones uncivilized.
has anyone seen the book on bush's own language it's hilarious.
