Mini Fridges

Hi,
I just bought a mini fridge for the worktop to keep the milk and butter cool, and maybe a bit of meat.
My main fridge has packed up, and the seal has gone, hence the reason for buying this mini fridge to get by with. I was wondering if it is save to leave it on all day, and overnight, and are they economical to run.? Ah dinnae want a big electricity bill.

Thanks for welcome advice.
