who's going to skelp yer arse?

...

uh!!! I can't sleep!!! For 99.99% of the population, alcohol helps them sleep. Me.... it's just the opposite! Always has been. Gives me more trouble than if i'd had as much in very strong coffee! All i had tonight was two bottles of beer... that's it! I can't sleep for anything. I'm awaker than if there were a mosquito in the room. (mental note: do not drink beer unless all night sports are ahead).

....

hopefully we're pittin hings in the dustbin or taking to Oxfam, etc. Cubburts have their limits.... if my mangling of language is intelligible.

okay... what next? need something to do tonight. hmmm....

Nobody is going to get their arse skelped unless they ask nicely!

Beer can do that to me too sometimes. Hey, i tidied up. I find 2 five minute tidies is better than one ten minute tidy though Good advice!

edit: who's going to skelp my arse? Nobody now that i have tidied up. (it's what you threaten kids with if they don't tidy their room - am i allowed to say that? It certainly used to work for me!)

My goal these days is to keep getting rid of things.... making it easy to keep the house looking sharp and my things organized! I've been watching home design shows, and it isn't always money that makes the places look great, but editing one's belongings down to well chosen essentials.

THIS WEEK'S ASSIGNMENT:

TOILETRIES AND THE MEDICINE CABINET

This weekend i was looking at all my toiletries.... shampoo & other things in the shower caddy, lotions (just what is my morning and night routine, anyway?), medicine cabinet, etc. If i haven't been using it or it's past the expiration date, it went into the out pile. I make a note of anything where i have more than one. I should have ONE shampoo (unless i'm near the end), ONE lotion, etc. If i have more than one, i want to stop buying before i've used up or discarded what i already have. A few things i'm testing to see if i really want to use it (believe it or not i actually do test things on half my face or half my hair... hahhaha... but it lets me know if something actually works or makes me break out. I've found an awful lot of hair and face products make no difference at all!!!). Some things I have lately been neglecting and i want to use them (like filling my daily reminder with vitamins). It's also a good time to make sure the First Aid Kit is stocked and buy a couple of new toothbrushes.

Recently i was staying at a friend's house and i had to look for aspirin. I found drawers and drawers filled to the top with dirty looking, expired medicines of every type, but nothing i trusted! Trust me... your bathroom can't be that bad! There is really no point in keeping prescriptions you aren't taking now or last year's melted cough drops! Toss them so you can find what you need!
