1Mar: Clean curtains by vacuuming top to bottom with the brush attachment. Or put them in the dryer on air cycle.

2 Mar: Prevent mold from forming on bathroom walls by going over them with a squeegee after each shower or bath.

3 Mar: Check your furnace filter once a month and replace or clean as needed.

4 Mar: Put corks on the ends of knitting needles when not in use to prevent dropped stitches.

5 Mar: Make a point of being more positive. It will inspire and uplift those around you.

6 Mar: Talk to an elderly reltive about her childhood memories and record them on tape.

7 Mar: Remove animal hairs from upholstery by runing a rubber glove over the fabric. The hairs will adhere to the glove.

8 Mar: Clean the kitchen exhaust hood and air filter. Remove the filter and wash in the dishwasher, following
manufcturer's instructions.

9 Mar: Quiet a squeaky hinge by lubricating it with a couple of drops of light household oil. Move the door back and forth to distsribute the oil.

25 Mar: Remove gum from a carpet by pressing ice against the spot intil the gum becomes brittle. Break it off and remove any stain with spot remover.

26 Mar: Ward off musty odors when storing suitcases by putting in unwrapped bars of soap or a fabric softener sheet inside.

27 Mar: Visit a lovely church or temple that you've always admired from the ourside. Try to go during choir or organ practice.

28 Mar: Pick up twigs, branches and other deadfall in the yard.

29 Mar: Plant indoor seeds for tomatoes,peppers, egplant and other wwarm season vegetables.

30 Mar: Hose down window and door screens. Fix a tiny hole in a window screen by applying several layersof clear polish; let dry between coats.

31 Mar: To loosen rusty nuts or bolts, soak a rag with club soda and place it on the nut for an hour. Repeat if necessary.
