Odd Socks !!

I was forever losing Jims socks, think the washer and drier ate them really...lolol

So one day I was thinking what I could use the lonely sock for apart from stuffing
it and sewing a face on it for the kiddies to play with !!

Had a brainwave and put one on my hand...clean of course...lol

Whipped through the dusting so easy and no mean feat when you have a hubby
who makes Airfix models...we have planes and helicopters all over the
place...another topic I think...lol

So what serious ideas have you for using the odd sock or two ??

The trick is to just buy similar socks.

Start the odd sock fad again. I remember not so long ago ahemm when i wasssss younger it was uncool to be seen with matching socks. The suburb i live in has gone back to the odd sock and shoe trend lol yes SHOE trend, and guess what im not one of them lol, but i do go to the shop in my pjs.

This goes along with stuffing them for kids... but I stuff them with cotton and cat nip and give them to my cat! He loves it!

You can also cut the feet off like my neighbour does and stitch elatic in the bottom for leg warmers at night.

My cat hates catnip and making them into legwarmers for sleeping is
a def no go as I like to feel free in bed...lolol

I know someone who cuts the stretchy top off and uses them for storing
things like carrier bags !!

Also tried buying similar socks but still end up with odd ones...lolol

i remember when we were kids mum use to make dusters out of dads odd socks, she had these special ones with a piece of wood inside and boy if we got her in a bad mood she would plant us one with them damn dusters lol
