Place gardening tools---shovels, rakes, and hoes---inside a big, sturdy garbage can eith wheels. Hang small tools on s-hooks around the rim. When you're in the mood to garden, you'll b eable to roll the can to the area you wan to work on.

Install a bike or utility rack to keep bulkky sports equipment off the floor.

Turn a plastic wading pool into a holding bin for inflatable tooys, swim goggles, beach totes, and other seasonal accessories.

Stow patio pillows during the off-season in large plastic chests with tight-fitting lids.

Hang an old hammock over boxes and bins to store lightweight gear like tennis racquets, athletic shoes, camping equipment, work gloves and hats, etc.

Store the lawn mower in a ventilated area, away from flammable items.
