Moving out on your own is a thrilling yet trying experience. Since you are probably starting form scratch, this checklist will help you focus on the basics so you can get settled in. Whether you're just starting off in your own apartment or are moving in with roommates or lyour significant other, chances are the first rooms you'll want to focus on are the bedroom and bathroom. We all have to sleep and shower!

Buy the Right Stuff
BEDROOM:
Jersey or cotton sheets for summer or year-round use
Alannel sheets for winter months.
Comforter, Duvet cover, Blanket, Throw, Pillows, Mattress pad, Area rug

For Your Laundry:
Hooks (over the door), Hangers, Hamper, Laundry bag, Iron, Ironing board, Drying rack

BATHROOM: 3 sets towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth), 1 Beachtowel, Bath rug, Tub mat. Over-the-door towel rack, (a great space saver), Slippers, Cosmetic organizer, Shower caddy, Q-tip/cotton ball holder, Drinking cup, Soap dish, Toothbrush holder, Magnifying mirror

Convenient Extras to Consider: Back rest pillow, Floor pillow (great for parties and TV nights), Bathroom scale

That's good...I ALMOST fell for it...(I DO get 'caught up reading this site!! lol) I THINK an aron is one of th ose rather heavy metal 'thingies' that heat up; a person (a man is better doing this than a woman!) presses this over items of clothing that have wrinkles in them; IF the man is smart, he will keep moving the iron so as not to burn the clothing. Now, this happens IF the man is SMART enough...and strong enough!

Good luck on your move...my 'friends' disappear when I move...I wonder why?
