Now, I know a car is not a house, but, it does seem to be in the same general sphere of upkeep. If this needs to be in another locaiton, please move it

Stay safe. Enroll in a service that provides roadside assistance. Be prepared by storing these items in your car. *First aid kit *Aerosol tire inflator *Roadside reflector triangles (2 or 3) *Flashlight (with extra batteries or auto charger kit; check batteries every few months) *Bottled water for drinking *A gallon of water for the engine (always wait until engine cools before opening hood) *Rain poncho and umbrella *Wet wipes *Small fire extinguisher *Nonperishable food (Packs of dried fruit and protein bars)
