(He hurt my daughter emotinally, and she was totally innocent in our split...go figure...I quit wasting any time on him a LONG time ago!)
Thank Heavens...! This just seems like a good place to "vent" about him---I'm a little paranoid speaking about him---and my divorce---around anyone who knows us...I absolutely do NOT want ANYONE (who knows us; especially my daughter) to gossip about our divorce, which was pretty "yucky". That's all.

drwineglass...I'm glad we had this 'conversation'---some people ARE happier being single, and maybe you are, right now. I, personally don't feel men and women are as one dimensional as you describe. Men and women are more complex than what you have described---but, that is my opinion. I had a strange marriage, made much more difficult by unusual circumstances, but that isn't to say that ALL men are pigs...some are hurtful, just as some women are hurtful, but not all are; Sometimes it just seems like "all the good ones are taken". Oh, well... We just have "to keep the faith". And, not get discouraged! This is not the time or place to relly discuss this...too many ideas can be misunderstood and "all that".
