Brighten white appliances without painting
Eliminate yellowing by making your own bleaching solution. Add 1/2 cup bleach and 1/4 cup baking soda to 4 cups warm water. Dip a cloth in the liquid and wipe appliances. Leave on for 10 minutes , then buff with a dry soft cloth to restore sparkle and shine. (Oops...I forgot about the fact that ya'll use another measurement system!! I don't know the equivalents for these measurements...sorry.)

Unclig Spray nozzles---When aerosol cans get cloged, dip the nozzle in rubbing alcohol, wait for one minute, then rinse under hot water. Alcohol cuts through build-up gunk so you can spray in no time without wwasting a single squirt.

Cheap relief for little ouches---A little planning now means you'll be ready for your next ouch. Dampen a washcloth, fold in half horizontally, then vertically so it forms a small square; pop it in the freezer. That way, your compact ice pack can offer relief should you take a spill or have a minor muscle ache.

Freshen party clothes---Don't spend money at the dry cleaner; get rid of smoky odors by hanging clothes over a tub half-filled with hot water and 3 cups white vinegar for a half-hour. The vinegar-scented steam permeates fabric, neutralizing odors so clothes smell fresh,

Abetter car trash "bag"---To keep bits of trash, like gas receipts and gum wrappers from littreing my car, I throw then into an empty tissue box. The opening is small, so the litter stays put. Then when it's full, just toss it out and replace the box.

Eliminate sugar lumps---When you open a new package of sugar, simply toss in a couple of plain crackers to absorb the moisture that causes clumps.

Maintain cleaar drains---Pop out the drain cover in your tub or shower, stretch a piece of old pantyhose across the opening and put the cover back in place. The hose creates a net that catches clog-promoting hair so pipes stay clear and drains flow freely. Remove buildup once a week.
