I have a pair of Bass loafers, the kind little bows tied in thin strings of leather on the top.

One bow is constantly coming untied. Have you EVER tried to tie a leather bow and keep it tied? If it comes undone, you can never get it tied again.

Flop, flop, flop! All day long...flop, flop, flop.

Don't ask me to dump the shoes. They are expensive, darling, comfortable and I just love them.

Anyway, if push comes to shove, I am reaching for my 5 second nail glue.

The idea of "flop flop flop" lol.. is pretty funny

But seriously.. I believe if you go to a craft store, like "Michaels"... or even better, a fabric store.. you should be able to find "Leather Glue" and that should work. I don't think 5 second nail glue will work.. Hot glue might.. like which is use for making crafts and stuff.. but that too, depending on the temperture and if they get wet, may come undone.. I would look for Leather Glue first..

I know how it is to not want to part with a favourite pair of shoes.. lol.. the lenghts some will go to, to get a few more years out of them eh? lol..

Hi dear, it is indeed quite a long time. She's still happy with the LA postcards. She is not doing well at the moment, since she suffers almost constant attacks of depression. But we get her back to smile again, I hope.
