I am looking for information on young Henry Percy, son of Hotspur. I can place him at St. Andrews as a boy in 1404, but in 1406 when Prince James (future James I of Scotland) fled St. Andrews for France I lose track of Percy for several years. Does anyone know if he was aboard the Maryenknight of Danzig when Prince James and his household were captured and brought to Henry IV at the Tower of London? I am also searching for the exact date and cause of death of James I wife, Queen Joan. After an exhaustive search I've not been able to find much of her death. Any help at all is appreciated.

Neonach,
I do not know the cause of death of James I wife(Lady Joan Beaufort),however she died at Dunbar on the 15th of July 1445 and she was buried in the Monastery of the Charterhouse in Perth.

Thanks. I thought both of them were buried at the Carthusian Monastery. Do you know if the Monastery of the Charterhouse is still there?

The monastery was demolished as a result of the Reformation in the 16th Century. King James VI built a hospital on the site, which (oddly enough) was named the King James VI Hospital.

There is a monument within the hospital grounds but I believe the actual graves are now lost. The location of the hospital is indicated by a red circle at http://uk.multimap.com/p/browse.cgi?pc=PH28HP
