Question

Could anyone help? I am looking for any help in obtaining a copy of a photograph printed in a newspaper in Edinburgh and also in Dundee between 1942-1943. The photo was of The Lord Provost Edinburgh standing in front of a Lancaster with a Squadron of the RAF. My uncle, Charles Smith Cook, was one of the men in the photo and I would appreciate any information on how to find a copy of this newspaper photo.Thank you,Tricia

The main newspapers in Edinburgh are The Scotsman and The Edinburgh Evening News. In Dundee, it's the Dundee Courier and Advertiser. Each of these newspapers has a website and can be contacted by e-mail. I would suggest you contact the newspapers directly and ask if they can search their archives for the photograph and/or article you want.
