Cool

I am looking for historical information about Highlands and clans. Anyone know any good books or websites? I would appreciate any responses. Have a good day!

Hi,

there are two good books I could recommend, they are both available via Amazon.com:

One is "Historic Scotland - Celtic Scotland" by Ian Armit, the second is called "Alba: Celtic Scotland in the middle ages", written by E.J.Cowan.

Hope that helps,

Franziska

Wink addictive info

Hi,

you are right, it is a bit dangerous: You could catch the "Scottish fever" and never be interested in anything else again ;=)

Have a nice sunday.

Question

Would you happen to know if a plaid and tartan are the same, or if plaids are just fictional? In many books I've read ( fiction), the author refers to plaids. Yet, I haven't found any information in non-fiction books or websites about the topic.
Thanks for all your insight!!
