Another good book is by the Herald columnist John MacLeod. Can't remember the exact title, but it is available from Amazon, and has had very good reviews by all sorts of different people and groups.
Thanks a lot! Of course I will have a look round what books are available by this author. Hey folks, if you go on recommending books the way you do now I need to win a fortune in the lottery: First, for buying all the books, then for buying me a huge castle (why not in Scotland), one that has roome enough for all my books!

A good book

If this is about the Highland CLEARANCES then check out Angus MacLeod "The Silent One's" it is a cd, but I think a book as well, but any who, he really knows his stuff

I read that book a number of years ago.
Whilst it was good, it wasn't literature!
