Talking

I am relatively new to the internet, and being as my wife was from Scotland, and I am from the USA I found it very necessary to find information on the Eyemouth Disaster so as to set her mind a little more at ease. Her Great Great Grandfather was one of the victims, [William Caird] and a lot of answers were not available. You were of great help and I was able to obtain one of the last copies of the book you refered me to. I and my wife would like to thank you very much for your help, and if I can ever be of assistance to you, please contact me.

Sincerely, jsmalin@hotmail.com

Terrific! Very glad to be able to help, and thanks for letting me know it was useful.

I think it was remarkable luck that you were able to obtain the book, as I presume it is unlikely to be in print, unless perhaps in a very small reprint edition.

Sorry about your wife's great grandfather, of course, but I can only hope that perhaps knowing the story is of some little help.
