Hi, I am spanish, and due to my work I need to know about scotland's history. Then I thought you could help me a litle. Well, my search is about Mary Stuart (Mary Queen of scots), and her strange life. I would like to Know who was her son's father (Henry I of england), and why did her secretary and lover die murdered in Holyrood Palace of Edinburgh, i need to know who was the murderer too.
Due to all the books I have read I think that the Presbiterian church and John Knox, were involved in this dark page of scoltand's history.
Well, in fact I don't know so much about this, and I hope you'll help me, because I don't find information.
As you can see my english is not as well as a I want.
Sorry and thanks in advance.

Ola senor/senora y bienvenidos a Scotland.com.Yo soy Escosciass y hablo poco espanol.Mary's secretary David Rizzio was a catholic and under the control of the papacy. The Scottish nobility fearing that he may have encouraged the Queen's catholic sympathies had him murdered. The ringleaders of the mob which murdered him were the Earls of Morton and Lindsay. Her son's father was an English noble, lord Darnley. It was lord Darnley who gave the orders to have Rizzio murdered.
