The 2 wonderful little Glaswegian ladies that I have tea with every Sunday have agreed to let me help them write a book about their lives. Their stories are nothing short of remarkable, and I can't wait for people to read and see just how tough they've had to be. Right now, I'm researching an important figure in the story- a Glasgow police officer called "Big Snitch". They say he was a very big man, and he was always sniffling, making a sound like "snitch". They don't know his real name, but remember that he was married with several children, and that he was killed in the bombing in 1941 when he threw himself over 2 children to save them. As of yet, I've been unable to find anything about him, but I believe he must have family somewhere, and his heroic death should absolutely be on record. If anyone knows anything about him, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Glasgow is a city - perhaps you could ask those two little ladies exactly where in Glasgow it occurred or they lived?
Such an heroic act would no doubt have been reported in the newspapers of the day, perhaps the Scotsman or the Glasgow evening papers.
