William Wallace Murdered 23rd August 1305(New Thread with some of posts !!)

William Wallace the great scottish patriot was brutally murdered in smithfield London on the 23rd August 1305. In his so called trial he was allowed no defence against the charge of treason so much for english justice.

Wallace wasn't murdered. Murder is when you kill somebody illegally.

Wallace, though, was killed legally. It's what's technically known as "execution."

I bet his family were left "in pieces" to learn that he had suffered that fate.

He had the death of a traitor, something he never was, he never accepted the pretensions or authority of England or their megalomaniac king Edward I, who sowed the seeds of centuries of hatred and bloodshed in these islands. This greedy family, descended from William the *******, having enslaved the English and eliminated their ruling class, was hell bent on subjecting the rest of the British Isles. Fortunately they never succeeded, Robert Bruce knocked hell out of them at Bannockburn and Edward II, ended his life with a red hot poker up his Ronson. Lovely family!

I visited his tomb in Westminster Abbey and intended pishing on it for auld lang syne but too many tourists about, I might just manage it yet! Unfinished business you might say!

Trumping up a charge and trying a foreign national , a prisoner of war , for treason , is illegal .
Killing that person is murder.

Mocking the family of the murdered person is despicable .

wasn't he considered a murderer?but he is the hero of all Scotland?

may he rest in peace i guess -maybe he meant well

if he deserves hell then who knows

im descended from welsh warriors who fought everyone im sure the same way

i thought i was descended from king Edward but maybe hes just a 10th cousin or something to me

i said that to a guy i know and he said hes descended from William Wallace and he didn't seem to want to kill me for it
