Scotland was not 'founded' .
'scotland' is a word that came into common usage ( in the emerging english language ) over a period of time as a name for the nation state of Alba .

Why was the fact that Bede lived some centuries before the consolidation of the English language , that which opened the linguistic door for words such as 'scotland' to come into existence , even introduced to this topic ?
What posses the author of that post ?
