ii read this book

they fought in about 3 wars and they always seemed to pick the losing side -sometimes for the king other times against some king

There is a glaring factual mistake in the excerpt which is shown on Amazon.

It's a error of such magnitude that I would be suspicious of any other claim in the book. I am' of course, referring the statement that the "House of Stewart" had held the Scottish throne since 1316. This patently ludicrous. Robert the Bruce (King Robert the First) reigned from 1308 until his death 1329.
