As I asked before, would you care to enlighten us? I for one am certainly interested - especially as it is one of the few topics on here that actually relates to Scotland AND is interesting!

Imagine how much more fulfilling it would be to research it yourself.

Also, having eyes rolled at me does not incline me towards helpfullness.

Believe me Lianachan I have done my own research, but the only details I can find are for the Well of the Heads by Loch Oich! As I said before, details for Blar Nan Ceann seem to be practically non-existant, which suggests to me what happened beforehand (if anything!) wasn't very notable - and that seems to apply to the "battle" as well!

As for the rolling eyes, don't blame my use of them for your lack of "helpfulness"!

I suspect, then, that you've not been looking in the right places. I doubt you'll find anything online.

Believe me, oneofthefew, I find it pretty annoying. I try to converse with people on forums in the same way I would if we were physically talking face to face. That's why things like rolling eyes don't fit well with me. Anybody who did that to my face would soon be watching my departing back, and it's the same here.

I've not just been looking online, but I guess I don't have the right books!

By the way, you can't "converse" the same with people as you can in person. You don't get any sort of real "body language" in a forum, not even with the stupid wee faces! You also can't pick up on the tone behind typed words - what may come across one way doesn't mean that's how its meant! However, that's just my opinion.
