The Beagle Boys were always trying to steal Scrooge McDuck's fortune. Were they Scottish?

Heaps, tho they tend to be local/regional things with often close-knit, family type organisation. Plus infighting. Try googling Arthur Thompson Snr & see what comes-up.

Also, the number of buisnesses that have over the years, been shut-down after their parent companies turned-out to be mafia-front/money laundering activities (eg Consolidated Pneumatic in Fraserburgh) & the number of "restaraunteurs," & other such "buisnessmen" who have been extradited & later convicted for Camorra/Cosa-Nostra related activities. Might just suggest that the real-thing is as well-established here as anywhere else?

"his old firm Upfront Group, which is one of the UK's largest independent security organisations..." That's the key bit of info, I think.

Erm, I wonder which "security organisation" "protected" the parliament building when it was being constructed? Or is the East Coast different in that "security organisations" are actually real security organisations and not mafia-like criminal gangs?
