2nd.Bn Scottish Guards

I am doing some research on a family member. He was in 2nd. Bn Scottish Guards, I believe in Glasgow. My question where can I find history of the Scottish Guards and can I contact them via email?

SCOTS guards in Glasgow? You sure?

My guess, is that it could be the 2nd Bn Glasgow Highlanders, also known as The Highland Light Infantry (HLI City of Glasgow Regiment), which were based at the Wyndford Barracks. http://www.regiments.org/regiments/uk/inf/071HLI.htm

I didn't say the Scots Guards were in Glasgow - but the OP was asking about the Scottish Guards... nearest 'real' regiment to that MUST be the Scots Guards, surely?
