As for your comments on the Black Watch teachoci, while I may have misgivings about how they were originally formed you cannot compare the unit of today with the original companies of the 18th century!
I partially agree with your statement. Though what about the atrocities committed by them in ireland.

the back watch burned down most of cork and murdered civilians and republicans without trial.

a large proportion of the black and tans were scots (ex blackwatch soldiers from ww1). the british government emptied these soldiers out of prison to run wild in ireland. And as far as I can see the irish didnt shoot enough of the b*stards.
tom barrys flying columns wiped them out pretty much though .

where is the black watch now, in iraq shooting "terrorists" and fighting for our freedom. ( i found it hard to type that becuase I was laughing so much ).

these dregs call themselves scots, dont make me laugh. We all know scots soldiers are two steps away from full bown smack addiction thats why they joined they army (otherwise they would be begging for copper change on the street corners of argyle street)

ok before I go on I will admit that I haven't studied the full history of the BW or even that of Ireland. However your sweeping statements now seem to cover ALL Scottish soldiers, not just one regiment or battalion or whatever it is now. Knowing some soldiers I think they would be very interested in your statements about them - somehow I don't think you'd want that shared would you? At least you are "safe" behind your meaningless name - much the same as I am - and can say what you like. These statements like many before show you to be a pathetic little boy - and I still don't think you can compare the members of the Black Watch today or any other Scottish regiment/battalion with those of the past no matter what attrocities they may have committed!

otuched a nerve there did I, . So you are saying black watch squaddies are ignorant as well as evil, (seeing as they join a regiment but dont bother to read up about its history and culture, mybe its cause the only literature they read is the sun or the daily star.)

as you say you yourself are ignorant of the blackwatch, maybe you shoud read a bit of history before you argue with me (or pick friends).

I think the engish government has the right attitude towards bw squaddies when they leave; forget like they didnt exist.

and your right I woudnt want to cross a bw squaddie, you average bw trooper foams at the mouth and has knotches carved on his arms, representing the amount of iraq babies and their mothers he slaughtered in iraq.

theres nothing more pathetic than the back watch piping up and down in their proud tartan suffering a sad delusion of some kind of pride. The black watch is an aged embarressment that should be forgotten forever. The germans are embarressed to talk about the nazis, and I am embarressed to talk about the sh*tewatch. as far as I am concerned they and ALL SCOTS CANNON FODDER can pull their kilts over their head and jump backwards onto the largest drone on their bag pipes.

I am not pro ira, I am against indiscriminate bombing of english civilians and proddys, however the ira 1916 - late 70s was a neccessary evil to defend the rights of catholics who were discriminated against in terms of housing , employment , and most other basic human rights. not to mention a lot of them were massacared by brit forces and innocent catholic men were kidnapped of the streets and interned *see operation motorman.

No teashoci you've not touched a nerve. However I never said I was ignorant of anything, that was YOUR word. Also I never said I had friends that were soldiers, that was an assumption you made. Makes me wonder if you ever read anything that was written. As for your opinions, they are as pathetic as you are - c'ya loser!

Who are you to call anyone an idiot? Do the words "pot", "kettle" and "black" mean anything to you? Somehow I doubt it as I don't think you could even read a dictionary let alone find any words in it!
