New Year is called 'New Year' in Scotland! (We do not put an 's' on the end of the word, although I believe the USA does.) New Year's Eve is known as Hogmanay and New Year's Day is often shortened to Ne'er Day.

Hogmanay is the short answer.

"Bliadhna Ur" is the Scottish Gaelic name for it.
