I can add one to the pile of claimants: A Scottish/Polish man named Peter Pininski. He even published a book called "The Stuarts'Last Secret". Well, help yourself and chose a king. LOL

Strictly speaking Scotland doesn't have a King. The head of sate of Scotland (as well as England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia etc) is Queen Elizabeth II.

Quite so, the proper pedantic title was not "king of Scotland" anyway, but of "Scots".

Who was Elizabeth I anyway?

Now there's something I can see Scots having a problem with. I also agree that it's wrong to call her 'Queen Elizabeth II' - there's only been one Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom.
