Alright!
I have a term paper that I have to do for my Canadian History class, and the subject I chose was the Jacobite prisoners, the ones that were sent to the Americian Colonies after the wars. Some points that I'm thinking of is the culteral development, like, how it differed with the Scottish immigrants in Canada and the Scots in the Americas, mainly the Jacobites sent there by the Brits. I also might compare the relations between the Scots and the French in Europe and in the Colonies, and how those realtions were different in accordance to where they were. It has to have something to do with Canada, seeing as the class is Canadian History, so I'm having both brain-overload with ideas and lack of ideas at the same time. I really want to do a good job, because my teacher is making an exception on the subject of my term paper because he knows I've had this idea for a few months before he gave the outline, but everyone else's subject has to be in the 20th Century. ^_^ Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful hints, like, any websites they know of, or books that would help. Anyways (again) I'm rambling, and probably using run-on sentances as well as WAY to many commas, trust me, this is how I talk, especially when I'm talking about history. *Is a history nerd, also future historian/museum curator* Aaaanyways, anything would be helpful, I don't believe in 'too much research', so I always over-load on the research. Thanks! ^_^ *history junkie* |
