Kings belong in the history books. Leave them there.

Oh now, be fair - on chess boards too, along with bishops and queen and knights.

(Hmm - I wonder if anyone has designed a more democratically oriented chessboard!

I think this 'Prince Michael of Albany' demonstrates the absurdity of monarchy; why should this man, who has done nothing to earn the leadership of a country, become the king simply because some great-great ancestor was? Surely merit would be the best basis to elect a ruler?

Scotland hasnt got a Royalty

Was just thinking same about the Windsors what have they done for Scotland ,,,we dont get tourists coming to see the Windsors and her brood, better with a Stewart Than a Hanovarian Queen.

Scotland has its own Laws and its own Banknotes and its own Government, and its own Crown Jewels(which she canna wear)and after all we can live without the English but can they live without us, so whats wrong with a Stewart on our throne
he has more right to throne than anyone
And ask any exiled scot in usa or Canada if Scotland got Home Rule many would come and invest in Scotland but not as long as we are United with the south,
