The Picts were almost certainly a Celtic people and their language would have been related to Gaelic but Scots Gaelic as spoken today was the language of a different people, the Scots.
I do not have Gaelic so I cannot confirm or deny your information about ic being used in Gaelic surnames (I've never heard of it before but I am willing to concede that it might happen and I'll be guided by one of the many Gaelic speakers who post here). However, even if Gaelic uses ic as you describe, it is not the language of the Picts and therefore does not provide any further information on Pictish origins. |

I did not desribed by myself anything about Gaelic surnames. This was not my own work as I understand you. I just posted as you see some articles from the Irish sources and compare it here with with ours South Slavic/Slavic surnames.
