I've recently have been working with breathing techniques to enhance my health. There are tapes and books by Dr. Weil that deal specifically with breath work. It helps you focus on your body, breathing, and control of harmful effects of different situation in your life.
I know the war that is going on can be stressful. Even a person that cuts you off on the road can be stressful. These techniques can be helpful. It's right under your nose! There are areas in my life that I thought required meds, but after practicing the breathing techniques for a month now I've so far haven't taken anything to alleviate the pain. You might say "it's all in your mind, talbert". You'd be right! It is all in my mind. The mind is very powerful. Ever heard of positive thinking? I'm getting wordy...... |

yeah, you sure can heal yourself with the power of your thoughts! And I think that deep breathing used with visualization works well. Just imagining healing energy around the part of you that hurts or just for energising yourself in general. And I also use the technique of telling my pain to go away.(nuts or not it has helped me get rid of migranes!)I'm proud of you cos you use the power your thoughts!! take care!
