Migraine

When I get a migraine I usually end up staying in bed for a few days.

I know people have different triggers for migraine and my most frequent one is the sun catching the
side of my eyes, its murder in the car on a sunny day.
Sunglasses always in there and a eye mask for darkness !

After being sick and if possible sleeping in a darkened room my insides feel as if they have been 10 rounds
with Henry Cooper !

This feeling can take a few days to go and in that time I am always so tired.

Anyway if I feel a migraine coming on I try to keep it a bay by sucking Ginger Pieces and drinking Green Tea.
The majority of times it does help !

Do you have any thing you try when a migraine starts ?

I don't seem to get them any more, apparently when I did it wasn't actually them! My sister in law gets them, the movement of a ceiling fan or drinking red wine will set them off!

She heads to bed, laying in a dark room with a heated cloth on her face. Moist heat helps, and the herbal wrap she picked up someplace and can heat in the microwave helps some times.

The best cure for her, time.
