Healthcare in Scotland?
Hi everyone,

I am moving there from Australia in December and I want to know about getting healthcare in the UK. In Australia we have Medicare and UK citizens are allowed to use it for the length of their Visa. Does it work the same way for us with the NHS?

My wife is Scottish and has a NHS number but she says I might not be eligible. Does anyone know how it works?

You could contact the British Embassy or Consulates in Australia - here's the relevant Govt agency info from the UK.
