Well, it's the third Monday in the new year, the date where suicide rates are at their highest in the Western world . . . broken new year's resolutions, Christmas debt and the realisation that we're all a year older but not necessarily a year wiser make this a hard time of year.

Make the effort to cheer someone up today - depression is rarely visible. Tell a joke, smile do something nice.
