from my family to yours...

We are all getting older; thatis, if we are lucky (the alternative...).

ANYWAY, my father's had cancer which was successfully treated and he now has a standing appointment with the doctor for follow-up checkups. His oncologist (cancer specialist) is Indian; this man took a year sabbatical, and returned to his country of origin, where he studied folk medicine, for its validity.
He told my father some of what he's learned---use cinnamon in many of the dishes you eat (the GREEKS have a dish called moussaka---which includes cinnamon and ground beef; this is unusual, but, it's delicious; ALSO, this doctor tells my Dad to use melatonin to improve sleep. Sorry that I don't have some stellar credentials...but, this is health advice (informal) that's being followed here. (cinnamon helps stabilize blood sugar)

Cinnamon added to scrambled eggs...etc. SALUD!! to your health!!

Good news about your dad !!

I use a lot of cinnamon in cooking

Cinnamon added to honey and milk is good for soothing the throat, even better if you add
a wee dram

So...that's the reason your cats (and, they are SO BEAUTIFUL!) look so happy, I guess. "Cinnamon Power"!
