I agree Sandy. Porcelain veneers or crowns are very popular among those who can afford it. Even small-time entertainers/actors have that done routinely. If a person can afford it, I guess it's their money. . . I had a female boss who, at age 42 and with perfectly OK teeth (though a bit discolored) had veneers put on her upper teeth (they show more when you smile) at the cost of $9,000. Vanity? Yeah, but face lifts, tummy tucks and other plastic surgery procedures to defy one's age are common as a walk in the park these days. I had a client once, a pretty young woman, who repeated managed to get into car accidents, settle her cases, and used the money for different procedures (boob job, butt lift, liposuction, juvaderm injections, etc etc.) None of that made her any happier at the end of the day.
