Is it cheaper to get all your teeth pulled and get falsers or to get them all repaired/crowned/replaced ?

My boss had to pay RO 4,000 to a dentist here for a set of crowns (about USD 8,000).

I haven't been to a dentist here in Oman in the 4 1/2 years I've been here. I brush 'em regular and they seem to be holding out ! I might go when we're in the Philippines though.

I agree Sandy. Porcelain veneers or crowns are very popular among those who can afford it. Even small-time entertainers/actors have that done routinely. If a person can afford it, I guess it's their money. . . I had a female boss who, at age 42 and with perfectly OK teeth (though a bit discolored) had veneers put on her upper teeth (they show more when you smile) at the cost of $9,000. Vanity? Yeah, but face lifts, tummy tucks and other plastic surgery procedures to defy one's age are common as a walk in the park these days. I had a client once, a pretty young woman, who repeated managed to get into car accidents, settle her cases, and used the money for different procedures (boob job, butt lift, liposuction, juvaderm injections, etc etc.) None of that made her any happier at the end of the day.

I heard it not long ago, but actually I doubt it. I don't think it is true and believable.

in usa if youre poor you get nothing almost

im 57 missing 3 teeth

if youre poor theyll buy you false teeth maybe

i got a crown or started to with buildup

got infected and went through scary hell

next time it will get pulled-i dont believe in crowns now or root canals
