Numerous studies have shown that a good laugh has many positive physiological effects, such as lowering blood pressure and releasing mood boosting endorphins. Laughter also is thought to improve circulation, stimulate the nervous system, strengthen the heart, and enhance the immune system.

I think it's the Cherokee that would have laughing circles. They'd get together a large group of people, stand in a circle, and then someone would start to laugh and then everyone would laugh!... you know how contageous that is!

That's a great idea...it would be FUN, because it seems that, when several people laugh, giggles follow!
