For extra anti-cancer benefits, spice up stir-fry dishes, soups, and fresh fish with ginger.
Ginger posses two anti-carcinogenic compounds, 6-gingerol and 6-paradol. Studies show that these compounds may help inhibit certain cell transformatins that could lead to cancer. The 6-gingerol content of procesed ginger may vary greatly, so choose fresh ginger whenever possible.
(I didn't know exactly which category to put this in---I hope this is a good one; MODERATORS...please see that this is an appropriate location.)
