Does anyone know about any "natural" cures for indegestion? I have heard peppermint is supposed to help.

Wink

Fresh ginger or tea made of dried ginger is very helpful. You could also have some camomille-and-lavender tea.

Where does the indigestion come from? If it is the liver or the gall bladder, artichokes, St.Mary's thistle and wormwood (also in form of vermouth) brings relief.

Sorry for answering so late!

I agree about peppermint(you could put some drops of peppermint oil in a glass of water) and about ginger. I am not sure if you would count sodium bicarbonate as "natural", but it does work too!

Good luck!

In case of too much acid in the stomach this is a miracle, you are right, Celyn!

And, according to my books, it is considered natural as it is won from natural minerals and does only regulate the acid level of the stomach without any further effects.
