My maiden name is Richmond but some of my family members have said that way back we were Gemmells ( not sure of the spelling.) would like some info. My grandfather was born in Scotland in 1884, married Catherine Riddell then they moved to Canada & had 6 children Robert, William, Thomas, Catherine, Roxburgh ( my dad) & Margaret.
